By using AcadeX, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before using our services.
AcadeX (also known as NoteShare) is an educational platform that allows students and teachers to upload, share, buy, and sell academic notes and study materials. We are operated as an independent platform and are not affiliated with any university or educational institution unless explicitly stated.
You must be at least 13 years old to use AcadeX. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it updated. Accounts found to be fake or misrepresentative will be permanently banned.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others. AcadeX reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms or engages in fraudulent activity.
Users may upload academic notes, previous year question papers (PYQs), books, and other educational materials. By uploading content, you confirm that: (a) you own the content or have permission to share it, (b) the content does not violate any copyright or intellectual property law, (c) the content is appropriate for an educational platform and not offensive or misleading. AcadeX reserves the right to remove any content without notice if it violates these terms.
Some notes on AcadeX are available for purchase. All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR). Payments are processed securely through the Razorpay payment gateway. The full sale amount is credited to the seller's earnings balance. When a seller withdraws, AcadeX deducts a 15% platform cut and 18% GST on that cut, and the remaining amount is paid out (for example, a Rs 1,000 withdrawal pays out Rs 823). Premium subscriptions are priced as described in section 6.
Premium is available for ₹99 per month or ₹999 per year. Verified students of a university registered and verified on AcadeX pay a student price of ₹19 per month or ₹199 per year. Students who type in their college, school or university name manually, without it being linked to a registered and verified university, are not verified and do not get student pricing. Universities may buy Premium for their members (students, teachers, or both) at ₹9 per member per month or ₹99 per member per year; Premium bought this way lasts for the period paid and is not renewed automatically. Teachers do not receive Premium for free; it must be bought by the teacher or by their university. Premium benefits include Quill AI access, community posting, hosting live classes where permitted, and note discounts. Prices are in Indian Rupees and are enforced by our servers at checkout.
AcadeX may issue coupon codes that reduce the price of a Premium purchase. Coupons may be public or private, may be limited by plan, account type, number of uses, per-user uses, specific email addresses and dates, and can be withdrawn or expire at any time. A coupon cannot be exchanged for cash. A coupon that makes the total zero activates Premium without payment. AcadeX may also grant Premium to an account manually, and may remove it if it was granted by mistake or the account breaches these terms.
Students who are affiliated with a university, college or school (either through a registered university or by entering an institution name) can attend live classes but cannot host them. Teachers and independent users with active Premium may host live classes. University-linked accounts and AI notes shared by a university teacher are visible only as described on the note or class.
Earnings from note sales are credited to your AcadeX earnings balance. Minimum withdrawal amount is ₹100. Each withdrawal request is reviewed and verified by AcadeX and then paid manually to your bank account or UPI ID. A rejected request counts as a warning, and accounts with 3 rejected requests may be banned. AcadeX is not responsible for delays caused by banking systems.
You may not: upload plagiarised or copyrighted content without permission; create fake or multiple accounts; attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the platform; use the platform for spam or advertising; harass other users.
All platform code, design, branding, and non-user-generated content is owned by AcadeX. User-uploaded content remains the property of the respective uploader.
AcadeX provides the platform "as is" and makes no warranties about the accuracy or quality of user-uploaded content. We are not liable for any academic outcomes, losses, or damages arising from use of materials found on the platform.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Haryana, India.
